Honkabout Privacy Notice

In effect from 2 November 2026

1

The short version

Honkabout does not collect, send or share any personal data. There is no account to make, no sign-in, no advertising and no analytics. The game never connects to the internet to report on you.

2

What stays on your device

To remember your progress, the game keeps a small record on your device: the shifts you have cleared, the notes punched on your shift cards, the biscuits in your tin, the goods in the Kerb Depot, the signs on your Sign Rack, the numbers on the Tube Counter, and your Music, Sound effects and Haptics settings.

This record is used only to run the game. It is not read by us or by anyone else, and it never leaves the device.

3

Nothing from the outside

Honkabout contains no third-party code that gathers information: no tracking, no advertising networks, no crash reporters that send data away. It asks for no permissions, so it cannot see your location, photos, contacts, camera or microphone.

4

Clearing it away

You can wipe your progress at any time from the Signal Cabinet inside the game with "Repave the town". Deleting the app removes its saved record from the device completely.

5

Younger wardens

Honkabout is a family-friendly game for all ages. Because it collects nothing from anyone, it collects nothing from children either.

6

If this notice changes

If the game's handling of data ever changes, this page will be updated and its date changed before that version of the game is released.
